From my perspective, this phenomenon will inevitably benefit both individuals and our society in the following aspects. First of all, the growth of visitors shows that most of Chinese citizens, who have been experiencing the unparalleled material prosperity, intend to pursue knowledge by visiting museums. Through this way, people gain an opportunity to broaden their horizon and enrich their spiritual world, thus living a more fulfilling life wherever they are. In addition, from a long-term vision, the growth of museums, which is closely related to China’s booming economy, means that museums constitute the engine of cultural development and that will give Chinese culture a promising future.
